ITINERARY

- Start with Wat Sisaket, the city’s oldest temple, known for its thousands of miniature Buddha statues and peaceful atmosphere. Continue to Wat Prakeo, the former royal temple that once housed the famous Emerald Buddha, surrounded by beautiful gardens and religious artifacts.
- Next, visit the iconic. That Luang Stupa, Laos’ most sacred monument, symbolizing national pride with its golden spire. Stop by Patuxay Monument, known as the “Arc de Triomphe of Vientiane,” and enjoy panoramic views of the city from the top.
- Afterward, head to the COPE Center to learn about Laos’ history and efforts to support survivors of unexploded ordnance (UXO).
- Following lunch at a local restaurant, explore the serene Buddha Park, home to over 200 religious sculptures created by a mysterious monk. Highlights include a giant reclining Buddha and various mythical creatures.
- Conclude the day with a scenic drive back to the hotel, filled with lasting memories of Vientiane’s cultural treasures.
