- At 07:15 AM, your guide will pick you up from your Phnom Penh hotel or guesthouse for a scenic drive to Oudong, the former royal capital. Along the way, enjoy views of rice fields and villages.
- Upon arrival, explore Oudong Hill, home to several temples and three large stupas containing sacred relics of past kings. The city, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, once housed Cambodia’s royal families for centuries. From the top, take in panoramic views of the countryside.
- Visit the Vihara of the 18-Cubit Buddha, a 30-meter-high statue that survived American bombings and the Khmer Rouge regime-symbolizing the resilience of Cambodia.
- Afterward, enjoy a set lunch at a local restaurant before heading back to Phnom Penh. On the return journey, stop at Kompong Luong, a renowned silversmith village. Watch artisans skillfully craft silver products using traditional methods, with an opportunity to purchase unique souvenirs.
