DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN CHIANG RAI (-)

• • Pick up upon arrival in Chiang Rai
  • Free time to relax and stroll around the city at your own pace

DAY 2: CHIANG RAI – DOI TUNG – MAE SAI – CHIANG SAEN – CHIANG RAI (B)

• • Visit Doi Tung Palace & King’s Mother Garden, located in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains and flower gardens
  • Continue to Mae Sai, the northernmost point of Thailand, to see the border between Thailand and Myanmar
  • Explore the Golden Triangle, once famous for the opium trade
  • Take a boat trip along the Mekong River to view Laos and Myanmar before returning to Chiang Rai

DAY 3: CHIANG RAI CITY TOUR – THATON (B)

• • Visit the local morning market to experience daily life of the locals
  • Visit Wat Phra Kaew and Mae Fah Luang Museum
  • Visit the White Temple (Wat Rong Khun), one of the most unique temples in Thailand
  • Transfer to Thaton
  • Visit Thaton Temple and enjoy panoramic views of Kok River and the surrounding mountains

DAY 4: THATON – CHIANG DAO – PAI (B)

• • Visit Chiang Dao Cave with impressive stalactites and stalagmites
  • Stop at Mae Malai local market to discover local products
  • Visit Mork Fah Waterfall and walk through the forest trail
  • Relax at Pong Duet Hot Spring in a peaceful natural setting
  • Arrive in Pai, a charming mountain town

DAY 5: PAI – MAE HONG SON (B)

• • Enjoy a relaxing boat trip along Pai River to admire the countryside scenery
  • Visit the Long-Neck Karen Village and learn about their unique culture
  • Visit Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu to enjoy panoramic views of Mae Hong Son town
  • Visit Jong Kham & Jong Klang Temples, beautiful Burmese-style temples by the lake

DAY 6: MAE HONG SON (B)

• • Take a bamboo raft to explore Tham Lod Cave with stalactites and limestone formations
  • Visit Lahu Hill Tribe Village to observe their simple lifestyle
  • Visit Lisu Hill Tribe Village, famous for colorful costumes and handicrafts
  • Return to Mae Hong Son for overnight

DAY 7: MAE HONG SON – MAE CHAEM – CHIANG MAI (B)

  • Drive through Mae Chaem and pass Doi Inthanon National Park
  • Stop to visit beautiful waterfalls along the way
  • Arrive in Chiang Mai in the evening

DAY 8: CHIANG MAI (B)

  • Enjoy a rickshaw ride through the charming old streets
  • Stroll around Warorot Market to experience local life
  • Visit Doi Suthep Temple for panoramic views of Chiang Mai City

DAY 9: CHIANG MAI – ELEPHANT JUNGLE SANCTUARY (B, L)

• • Join a full-day ethical elephant experience in a natural environment
  • Feed, walk, bathe, and interact with the elephants
  • Enjoy a traditional Thai lunch
  • Return to Chiang Mai in the afternoon

DAY 10: CHIANG MAI – DEPARTURE (B)

• • Free time at leisure until transfer to the airport for your departure flight
