Mai Châu is a rural district of Hoa Binh province in the northwestern region of Vietnam. The district is located at about 160 km from Ha Noi. The scenery of Mai Chau attracts many tourists. The Mai Chau area is well known for its stilt houses. The type of stilt houses, or pile dwellings, they construct are called Thai stilt houses and are made of bamboo and timber. These houses are elevated 10–12 feet off the ground in order to avoid water damage and shelter animals from the elements In one day, explore the natural and cultural beauties of Mai Chau Valley in Hoa Binh. Take a biking tour around the villages of Mai Chau and have the chance to be overwhelmed with the beauty and landscape and the friendliness of people in Mai Chau.

Your tour starts at 7.am morning with a pickup at your hotel in the Old Quarter in our comfortable van. Depart Hanoi and head to Mai Chau.Enjoy a short break on the way with some refreshment and photo opportunities. First stop will be at Mai Chau valley see the amazing views of Mai Chau.After that, enjoy a traditional lunch in the local village with a local host family at the home stay (vegetarian meal available). Next, take a bicycle ride with your local tour guide, see farmers working in fields, locals weaving scarves and visit surrounding peaceful villages. This afternoon, leave Mai Chau and drive back to Hanoi. Your tour ends with a drop-off at your hotel around 7pm.
