Overview:
Floating market; Cai Cuong homestay, sampan rowing, biking, cooking class.
Day 1:
The tourist will be on board at the tourist boat station at Cai Be. Just 10 minutes of boating on the My Tho river enjoying the fresh air and peaceful relaxation, The tourist visit the floating market – the original style of commerce on the Mekong river’s basin and are dizzy of hundred boats on the river.
Visiting the local pop rice, rice paper workshops, the tourist do not only see how to make but also try on and taste the warm cakes right after processing.
Crossing the Mekong River to the island, being along the canals with activities of the local fishing and the daily life.
Visiting Mr Cai Cuong’s ancient house - landlord’s one in the past, farming tool display, rice planting line- the miniature pictures of the Mekong delta. A cup of tea, some of the local tropical fruits and listening to the traditional music is the best chance for relaxation with the ancient’s feeling.
Strolling on the village paths(cycling or rowing sampan) under the foliages to discover daily activities of the local people.
Boating to local house, preparing and having dinner with family. Chatting with the family to see the Mekong inhabitant’s life. Overnight.
Day 2:
Breakfast, shopping at the rural market with someone in the family. Gardening with the local people(seasonable situation).
Preparing and having lunch with family, say goodbye.
Visiting the brick & pottery factory where the tourist know how to make the brick and the pottery from the local clay and styles with the traditional technique..
Back to Vinh Long, walking to visit Vinh Long market.
End the tour.
